Our Story
Turning Dreams into Reality, One Family at a Time
Building Foundations of Hope
Founding
Creator’s IVF Nepal Pvt. Ltd. was founded in 26th August 2015 under the dedicated leadership of Dr. Sanu Maiya Shrestha (Pradhan). Inspired by her personal struggle with infertility and driven by a desire to help others, Dr. Sanu established the clinic to bring hope and advanced reproductive technologies to Nepal.
Growth and Development
Since its inception, Creator’s IVF Nepal has grown significantly, achieving numerous milestones. Under Dr. Sanu’s guidance, we have successfully conducted multiple IVF/ICSI batches as well as regular IVF treatments, resulting in the birth of our first IVF baby in September 2016. Over the years, our clinic has continuously evolved, incorporating the latest techniques and expanding our facilities to better serve our patients. Dr. Sanu’s vision to develop in-house qualified embryologist made possible to start uncompromised personalized regular IVF treatment at Creator’s IVF Nepal from 2016. Our in-house embryologist Mr. Dijan Vaidya returned Nepal completing his Masters study in clinical embryology from Dundee University, UK in 2016, when there was no practicing qualified embryologist in the country. Creator’s IVF Nepal is the first independent IVF centre in the country run by a fully qualified Nepalese IVF team.

A Journey of Hope and Healing
My journey in Assisted Reproductive Technology (ART) began with my own experience of infertility. After three years of personal struggle, I overcame my infertility, which inspired me to gain expertise in Reproductive Medicine. With an AUS AID Scholarship, I pursued MSc. by Research in Obstetrics/Gynaecology (Reproductive Medicine) at the university of New South Wales, Sydney, Australia. I worked as a clinical fellow in Reproductive Medicine in Royal Hospital for Women (RHW), Sydney, Australia where I learned Transvaginal Power Doppler Ultrasound for ART and conducted clinical research and submitted thesis on“Longitudinal Assessment of Ovarian and Endometrial Vascularity by Power Doppler Ultrasound during Spontaneous and Stimulated Ovarian Cycles in Assisted Reproduction Treatment” (2001-2004) (ref. to Thesis link the page ).
Upon returning to Nepal, I worked at Om IVF Centre from 2004 t0 2007, gaining invaluable practical experience. After three years of experience at Om IVF centre, I started new IVF centre, “IVF Nepal Pvt. Ltd.” in 2007. This centre germinated out of my own initiation, but was financially supported by Dr. Gyanendra Man Singh Karki (Senior Consultant Gynaecologist and Laparoscopic Surgeon). Under my leadership this centre served thousands of infertile couples till July 2015, giving birth to 250 IVF babies. Take home baby rate of this centre was 28.9%. Finally in August 2015, I established Creator’s IVF Nepal Pvt. Ltd. with a mission to provide individualized advanced and compassionate fertility treatment. Our clinic offers range of treatments: Medically Assisted Reproductive Technology (MAR) treatments such as Timed Intercourse (TI), Intrauterine Insemination (IUI) and advanced Assisted Reproductive Technology (ART) treatments such as In-Vitro Fertilization Embryo- Transfer (IVF-ET), Intracytoplasmic Sperm Injection Embryo-Transfer (ICSI/ET) and Cryopreservation of Oocytes, Sperm and Embryo. Pre-implantation Genetic Diagnosis (PGD) facilities are assigned only in indicated cases.
